Hey all, long time no see! Although updates from us have been few and far between, we’ve still been hard at work on StudioCMS and the surrounding ecosystem. As we continue to grow and get closer to an eventual non-beta release, we’re excited to announce that Skip2 Networks has agreed to sponsor our work!

Skip2 Networks is a fully-bootstrapped service provider, founded by regular people like you and me who are focused on building a stable business and, most importantly, a great product. They offer services like DNS management, a CDN to serve your site across the globe and many other features that help make your site faster, accessible by more people and more secure.

We’ve recently started to put more resources into getting word out about StudioCMS. This included marketing and co-writing articles on various sites, but also rebuilding our homepage, as you’ve probably noticed! As part of this rebuild, we where exploring options of how we could put ourselves on the map, both for search engines and for users from around the world. The natural choice was using a CDN for better response times, and since yours truly had been invited to Skip2’s beta testing, we figured they were a perfect choice for us.

With Skip2, we’re able to serve our content to basically any location in the world at incredibly low latency, without having to worry about where our site is hosted. We also take advantage of their static storage, hosting (for example) the assets you see on your StudioCMS login page!

I know we’ve been reasonably quiet, but we’re still on a mission to bring you the Astro-native CMS you’ve been waiting for. Now that our dashboard redesign has been completed, it’s about ironing out bugs, design kinks and performance issues before we can move out of beta.
